Hi Stampers:
It's time once again for Sketch Frenzy Friday! It's so close to Christmas, and it's COLD here, so I'm hoping for a white Christmas! Here's our sketch for this week, which I created:
And here is my creation:
I LOVE the Endless Wishes stamp set, so I used it for this card. And I LOVE silver foil AND rhinestones, so this card has a lot of bling!

SFF112114--It's NOT a Card!
Hi Stampers!
Time once again for Sketch Frenzy Friday!! Here's the sketch from Stacey Tomkowiak:
I chose not to do a card this week because I wanted to try a bottle tag (aka: wine tag). I am making several for a craft show I am in on Saturday, and decided to share one using our sketch:
I thought it really turned out cute! I used Cherry Cobbler cardstock, Garden Green cardstock, Trim the Tree Designer Paper Stack, Decorative Dots TIEF, Wonderful Wreath Framelits for the "Joy," which was cut out of Silver Foil. The hole is cut using the Circle Collection Framelits--the 4th one from the center. The Cherry Cobbler cardstock is cut 8-1/2" X 3-1/2" and scored at 2-1/2" from one end. Then I centered the framelit and cut the hole. The banner is cut with the second from the largest Banner Framelit, and the Garden Green piece is the 3rd from the middle Deco Labels Framelit. I finished it off with Whisper White Candy Dots from the Neutral Candy Dots.
Check out what the other designers have created. Just go to the SFF Blog! We love to share with you, so why not share your creations based on our sketch with us!
Enjoy!

Sketch Frenzy Friday--Birthday Sparkles
Hi Stampers:
It's time again for Sketch Frenzy Friday, and after a 4 week hiatus for me, I'm back! I am the author of the sketch this week, and I created a birhday card for a friend, whose birthday was yesterday. Here's my sketch:
Here's my card based on the sketch:
Instead of doing all squares, I chose to use a tea doily behind a square of Silver Glimmer paper. The stamp set is the photopolymer set called Endless Birthday Wishes. My colors are Lost Lagoon, Whisper White, and Coastal Cabana. I used some rhinestones on the candle flames, and some Lost Lagoon ribbon tied around the cake element. The Lost Lagoon card base is textured with the Decorative Dots TIEF. For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment on a Top Note die cut.
Here is a list of all the supplies I used:
Now hop on over to the SFF Blog and check out what all the designers have done with this sketch. Don't forget to upload your design; we love to see what you create.

SFF101014--A lot of texture but very little stamping
Hi Stampers:
Halloween is coming! I know you knew that, but I thought I would throw that out because for our Sketch Frenzy Friday sketch, I chose to make a Halloween card:
Enjoy!
Halloween is coming! I know you knew that, but I thought I would throw that out because for our Sketch Frenzy Friday sketch, I chose to make a Halloween card:
I
could have sworn I had purchased the Freaky Friends set, but when I
couldn't find it in my stash, I decided to cut out one of the "friends"
from the the Motley Monsters DSP. In fact all the DSP on this card is
from Motley Monsters. The texture on the black card base is the Chevron
TIEF, and the texture on the Bermuda Bay arrow is the Decorative Dots
TIEF. I also tied a small piece of the Whisper White/Tangerine Tango
thick cord into a knot, then unraveled the two ends. The greeting is from the set Ghoulish Greetings. Really, this card
went together pretty fast!

SFF100314--So I thought I would do it again!
Hi Stampers:
Another Friday, another Sketch Frenzy Friday! YAY! We have a wonderful sketch today from Kathy Clark:
I had such a great time creating my card in MDS last week, so I thought I would do it again!
Same MDS stamp brush set, For all Things, but this time I am using Crisp Cantaloupe and Calypso Coral with Cajun Craze and Whisper White. Using the coloring tool, I changed the greeting into 3 colors: "Give" is Early Espresso, "Thanks" is Cajun Craze, and "For All Things" is Tangerine Tango. I am DEFINITELY going to recreate these two cards into what one of my friends calls "real cards," and when I do, I'll post them.
Thanks for stopping by today! Please click over to our SFF BLOG to see all the designer's creations. You can join us, too. Just use the inLinkz tool on our blog to upload your creation.

SFF092614--Hello Fall!
Hi Stampers:
It's officially fall, so I have a wonderful (in my humble opinion) fall card to show you today for Sketch Frenzy Friday. We have a great sketch from Marisol Gutierrez:
Here is my creation:
Yep, I used MDS again to create this card, and I will tell you I LOVE it! I am going to recreate this card using the Color Me Autumn DSP and the For All Things stamp set. Probably the only thing on MDS card that I won't be able to duplicate is the Crushed Curry grosgrain ribbon, but we have plenty of other Crushed Curry ribbons I can substitute. What else can I say? I love it and I want more of it!
Why not join us? We'd love to see what you would love to create. Just go to our BLOG and check out what the other designers have done, and add your link.
Enjoy!

Hi Stampers:
Once again it's time for our Sketch Frenzy Friday challenge. I am the designer this week:
Lots of room to add all kinds of elements to your creation. Here's the way I went:
I used the awesome stamp set For All Things which is now available for everyone to order from the Holiday Catalog. My colors are: Cajun Craze, Blackberry Bliss, Crushed Curry and Whisper White. Accessories: Autumn Wooden Elements, Color Me Autumn Washi Tape, Linen Thread, Circles Framelits, Perfect Polka Dot TIEF.
The first picture I took of my card was this:
I thought it needed something else, so I added the wooden element and the linen thread.
Now, click on over to our SFF Blog and check out what the other designers did. And don't forget to play along. We want to see what you do with this sketch.

SFF081514--My First Almost Fall Card
Hi Stampers:
Friday seems to roll around WAY too quickly these days, but I'm ready with a Sketch Frenzy Friday post. Our sketch this week was created by Elizabeth Harris:
Here's what I did with this cute sketch:
As soon as I saw the sketch, I knew what I wanted to do with it, but as I worked with it, I tweeked it a bit, and changed some of the things I used. For one thing, I wanted to use the Choose Happiness stamp set, but I didn't want to cut out the flower, so I used the large scallop circle punch, but It looked kind of plain with Hello Honey stamped on Hello Honey, so I added one of the NEW cute wooden Autumn Accents, which will be available on Aug. 28 in the Holiday Catalog. The greeting I used is from another NEW stamp set in the Holiday Catalog--For All Things. The colors I chose are: Hello Honey, Old Olive, Very Vanilla. I also used a strip of paper from the Moonlight DSP stack, the Lovely Lace TIEF, the Stripes TIEF, the Party Pennants Bigz L die, and Hello Honey Striped Satin Ribbon.
Want to see more creations? Just head on over to the Sketch Frenzy Friday blog. Why not play along with us, too? There's a link to upload on the SFF blog.

SFF080814--I turned it sideways
Hi Stampers!
Friday is here and it's time for Sketch Frenzy Friday. The sketch this week was created by Diana Eichfeld:
Here's my creation:
I needed a thank you card for a sweet lady I met yesterday, so I created this one. I turned the sketch sideways only because I stamped and mounted the interior piece and forgot to turn it horizontally, so I decided to turn the front around. I had already stamped (and smudged) the inside piece twice, and I WAS NOT going to do it a third time! So there!
Here's the inside:
Items used:
Kinda Eclectic clear mount stamp set
Something to Say clear mount stamp set
Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss Card stock
Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss ink pads
Top Note Die
Basic Pearls
Honeycomb TIEF
Clrcles Framelits
Elegant Butterfly punch
Ticket Duo Punch
Stampin' Dimensionals
Moonlight DSP stack
Don't forget: you can upload your creation based on our sketch at Sketch Frenzy Friday. And be sure to check out the other designers' creations!
Enjoy!

SFF071814--Flowers for a Birthday
Hi Stampers:
Today is Sketch Frenzy Friday day, and we have a GREAT sketch for you, designed by Jennifer Kay:
And here is my creation:
I was not sure how I was going to make this work, because these flowers are large. So I worked it out by staggering them. The stamp set is Beautiful Bunch and it has a matching punch for the flowers. For the centers, I punched out the dots and the daisy-like center with the 7/8" scallop circle punch. The splat center, I fussy cut with my paper snips. The top flower is stamped with Lost Lagoon, the middle flower with Hello Honey, and the bottom flower with Tangelo Twist. The centers were all stamped with Blackberry Bliss. The card base is Lost Lagoon--5-1/2" X 8-1/2." The next layer is Hello Honey and the top layer is Whisper White. All the flowers, the centers, and the Whisper White top layer are popped up with dimensionals. The greeting is stamped with Tangelo Twist and it is from the photopolymer stamp set, Endless Birthday Wishes. This particular stamp set is available while supplies last, and is VERY popular. If you want it, I suggest you order it soon!
Here is the inside of my card:
Don't forget to upload your take on our sketch at Sketch Frenzy Friday. You can also check out the other designers' creations in the same place.
