Sketch Frenzy Friday!

Hi Stampers!

Well after almost of week of not being able to update my blog, I am now back in business! Of course I missed last Friday's Sketch Frenzy Friday, and I apologize that I left you all in the lurch! Well--not so this week! Here's the sketch created by Pam Browne:

And here's my card:

I used My Digital Studio to create this little beauty. My colors are Peach Parfait (card base), Daffodil Delight (2010 New Color Patterns), Early Espresso (stamp image and greeting), Crushed Curry (ribbon embellishment--only available now in MDS). The stamp images are from the Razzle Dazzle set. You can join us. Go to our BLOG to link your creation. To see more great samples, click HERE to start at the beginning of the list, or HERE to go to Melinda's blog.

Enjoy!

Sketch Frenzy Friday-I'm the Designer!

Hi Stampers:
It's Friday again, and you know what that means--another sketch, another card. This time I am the sketch designer! Here's my sketch:

The sketch is pretty simple and so is my card. I needed a birthday card for my mother-in-law to give to a friend who is celebrating her 80th birthday on Saturday. Betty-the birthday girl--doesn't look or act her age, but I chose to make her card to match her sweet personality. And here it is:
For this card I used Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz, and Whisper White card stock, the Big Shot, the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, the Movers and Shapers die base with the Curly Label die, our new 1/2" crochet lace trim. The stamp set is a hostess set called Cute by the inch. I thought the card came out perfectly, and it will be perfect for Betty's birthday!

Sketch Frenzy Friday!!!!!

I hope you're enjoying our Sketch Frenzy Fridays! I am certainly having fun with my creations! However, life does interfere at times! I have had a really, REALLY, busy week, so I sort of cheated with my card. Well, not really cheated--everything is current Stampin' Up! items, I just didn't do ANY STAMPING! That's right--NO stamping! I used a Simply Scrappin' kit called Happy B-day. The colors are Brocade Blue, Crushed Curry, and Ruby Red. Did you know these kits come with 6 sheets of self-adhesive die cuts? I used several from two different sheets to embellish my card. Here is the template:

And here is my card:

Enjoy! And why not join us! Post a comment with a link to your creation and I will post YOUR creation on my blog!
Now go to Melinda Couden's blog and see her creation!
