Sketch Frenzy Friday-More Halloween Treats

Hi Stampers:

It's that awesome day of the week again-FRIDAY!!  And time for more Sketch Frenzy Friday!  Today we have a cute sketch from Maria:
And here is my card based on Maria's great sketch:
As I was making my card, I imagined that my little witch was playing hide and seek and disappeared leaving her boots and hat behind.  I decorated her boots with a little bling-rhinestones, and she is hiding behind the Spooky greeting and her Googly eyes are bugging out trying to see what's going on.  Her little frog friend is waiting for her to reappear!

Here are the supplies I used:
  • Stamp sets:  Wicked Cool-118738-wood mount, 120600-clear mount, pg 28 2012-2013 Catalog, Toxic Treats-127898-wood mount, 127901-clear mount, pg 25 Holiday Catalog
  • Card stock:  Basic Black-121045 pg. 156 2012-2013 Catalog, Tangerine Tango-111349 pg 153 2012-2013 Catalog, Naturals White-102316, pg 160 2012-2013 Catalog
  • Howlstooth and Scaringbone Designer series paper-126906, pg 24 Holiday Catalog

Sketch Frenzy Friday--It's My Sketch!

Hi Stampers:

Yes, it is Friday, yes it is time for Sketch Frenzy Friday, yes--it's my sketch design. I am so excited to bring you this sketch! I LOVE circles and I LOVE layering them. I also LOVE our Designer Paper--even if it is only available in My Digital Studio! So, without further ado, here is the sketch:

And here is my card--created completely in My Digital Studio:

I used a NEW download called Wicked Fun Kit, which became available on Sept. 6. I have and love the set called Wicked Cool and I still have some pieces of the Designer Paper which came out last year and is not now available to buy, but IS available now in MDS. I took elements from the Wicked Fun Kit and used them to create the card. The colors in this kit are Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White, and I think there is some Pumpkin Pie in it also, as shown by the label under the Spooky. And speaking of that sentiment, isn't that font cool looking? I love it! I would love to have a whole alphabet of it to play with!

Enough from me! Now it's time to go to MARIA's blog to check out what she has done. Also--you can go to our SKETCH FRENZY FRIDAY blog to upload your creation, and to start at the beginning of out mini tour.

Enjoy!

A Spooky Halloween Card

Hi Stampers:

Here's a cute card I made to celebrate Halloween:

I used Concord Crush as the base of the card, some Pumpkin Pie cardstock embossed with the Finial Press embossing folder for the Big Shot, and some Old Olive cardstock embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. I also used the new Extra-Large Decorative label punch underneath the Wide Oval punch out which is stamped with the witch's boots from the Wicked Cool stamp set. I used Naturals White card stock for stamping. I colored the stockings with Concord Crush and Old Olive Stampin' Write markers, however it is a little difficult to see. Let me show you the inside of the card:

I stamped the spider web, bats, and the word Spooky from the Wicked Cool set. Isn't that font cute?

Enjoy!
