And here's my card:

Of course I did it in My Digital Studio! MDS is great when you're short on time--like who isn't this time of year. AND this card wishes all of you a Merry & Bright Christmas. I hope everyone enjoys their holiday season!

SFF 12-10-10--I actually stamped this week!

Hi Stampers:

Well, I actually stamped a card this week for the Sketch Frenzy Friday entry this week. NO MDS for me this week! Here's the sketch by Sharon Field:

Here's my card:

I changed it up a little bit: I used a button instead of the photo corner punch. I LOVE this new buttons. And instead of using brads, I punched the center strip with the eyelet border punch. The stamp set is the Jolly Bingo Bits stamp set and the DSP is the Candy Cane Christmas. Too bad it's no longer available. I received an order this week with 2 packages of it--I think I got nearly the last two packages they had in stock!

Hi Stampers!

It's Friday, so we must have a new sketch. A GREAT and SIMPLE sketch courtesy of Tina Taves:

And here's my creation--using My Digital Studio:

Pretty simple and self explanatory: Night of Navy, Bashful Blue, Whisper White, Jolly Bingo Bits, Modern Label and Season of Cheer. It literally took me no more than 5 minutes to put together.

Happy Day After Thanksgiving! Sketch Frenzy Friday

Hi Stampers:
Well, it's the Day AFTER Thanksgiving--time for shopping AND Sketch Frenzy Friday! Here is our sketch, brought to you this week by Tammy Baldwin:

And here is what I came up with:

I used MDS again to create my card. In MDS, I used Cherry Cobbler DSP and the text DSP in Always Artichoke. My colors are Very Vanilla, Always Artichoke, and Cherry Cobbler. The stamp brushes I used are Bells and Boughs and A Holly, Jolly Christmas.

SFF 11-05-10--An Early Post

Hi Stampers!

It's not QUITE Friday yet, but we're posting a little early because some of our artists are participating in the Late Nite Stampers Royal Blog Tour--be sure to check it out!

The sketch this week is by Tess Davis:

Cute, isn't it? Here's my interpretation using--what else?--My Digital Studio:

Since Halloween is over, I can now do Christmas projects! This project uses the Christmas Jingle Designer Series Paper which is alive and well in MDS! Colors are Old Olive, Real Red, Chocolate Chip, and Whisper White. The stamp images are from the stamp brush set A Holly, Jolly Christmas.

Sketch Frenzy Friday--More Autumn Spice

Hi Stampers!

If it's Friday, it must be Sketch Frenzy Friday--and it IS! Have we got a great sketch for you this week--created by ME!

And here's my card--actually 3 views--the full card, a closeup of the center and a closeup of the little embellishment on the bottom right corner:

I am so in love with the Autumn Spice DSP! And this card has a lot of texture going on: Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, DSP punched with the Dotted Scallop border punch, stamped off images from the Day of Gratitude stamp set, three little acorns colored with Early Espresso and More Mustard markers-mounted on a strip punched with the Word Window punch out of Naturals White cardstock and mounted on a punched Cajun Craze small oval. I also used Pumpkin Pie grosgrain ribbon. It is not one of the colors listed with the Autumn Spice DSP, but I think it works very well with those colors. Here are the close ups:

Now, get out your cardstock, inks, and stamps and create your own interpretation of this sketch and upload to our BLOG. You can start at the BLOG to see all the creations OR go to the next stop on the tour, MELINDA'S BLOG
