Sketch Frenzy Friday-No Bad Luck Today!!

Hi Stampers!!

It's Friday the 13th, but SFF will not bring you bad luck today.  We have an awesome sketch--if I do say so myself, since I created it.  Here it is:

Looks a little complicated, but believe me it is easy!  A little cutting, a little layering, a little ribbon and you're done.  In the case of my sample (below), I used My Digital Studio to do the cutting, layering, ribbon, etc.  Here is my creation:

This is what I used:

• Everything Eleanor Digital download
• Calyso Coral
• Soft Suede
• Soft Suede Digital Seam Binding Ribbon
• Fabulous Phrases Digital download

That's it for me.  Hop over to MARIA'S BLOG to see what she has created for us.  And please visit our MAIN BLOG and join us by uploading your creation!

Enjoy!!

SFF 7-6-12

Hi Stampers:

I may have mentioned that I have been having computer problems over the last several weeks.  Well, when I turned on my laptop today(Thursday), I got the dreaded "hard drive not found"!  ARRRGH!  So I took it to Office Depot and they were able to turn it on, but I could only do 2 things:  either purchase a new hard drive or a new computer.  I chose to purchase a new laptop and I got it at about 7:00 pm.  Fortunately, I had bought an external backup hard drive, and had backed up my computer last week, but no time tonight to get the backup loaded on my new laptop to get this post done, so I have no card to show you this week.  I CAN show you the sketch, which is AWESOME, and I am linking you to MARIA'S  BLOG and to the main SFF BLOG PAGE.  Here is the sketch created by Jennifer Weide:

Don't forget--go to Maria's Blog to see what she has created OR go to the SFF BLOG to upload your own creation or to start anywhere in the list.

Sketch Frenzy Friday--New MDS Download

Today's SFF is again a card made in MDS, this time with a new digital download for MDS that Stampin' Up! made available on Tuesday.  But first--here is our sketch this week, created by Tina Munzke:

And here is my MDS creation:

All items used are from the MDS download called Pinwheels on Parade.  This download includes designer paper, embellishments and stamp brushes.

Now, let's go see how MARIA interpreted this sketch.  And don't forget. you can join us by uploading your own creation on our main SFF BLOG, or go there to start our mini hop.

SFF--New Catalog TODAY!!!

Hi Stampers:

Today is THE DAY!!!!  The new Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog goes live at noon Mountain Time, which is 2:00 PM my time--Eastern Daylight Time.  I can hardly wait to place my first order.  I have had a hard time deciding which wonderful new stamps and accessories I will add to my stash, but I have it pretty much narrowed down.  My new catalog OPEN HOUSE will be Sunday afternoon, June 24th and Monday afternoon and evening, June 25th.  If you live in the Cincinnati area, please contact me, and I will reserve a place for you!
Until I get new stuff, I have been playing with the Summer Smooches suite, which as a demonstrator I was able to pre-order.  I have both the physical items--DSP, Bright Blossoms stamp set, fabric, ribbon, petite purse die--AND the digital items, which I have been playing with A LOT!!! (LOL)

So again today, my project is digital--made in MDS.  First here is our sketch, created by the talented Sharon Wheet:

And here is my creation:

I REALLY LOVE the Summer Smooches items!  They are so bright and cheery and just make me feel happy!!  I have about 15 stamped items that I will be sharing with you over the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned.  Now, let's click over to MARIA'S BLOG to see what she has created.  And remember--we'd love to have you play along!  You can upload your creation on our SFF BLOG.

Enjoy!
