Well, winter has kicked in with a vengeance in the Ohio Valley!! Our lows the past couple of days have been in the single digits and teens, and the highs haven't made it out of the twenties! So of course I am looking for Spring!! If I can't have it outside, I can certainly have it with stamping!! Our sketch this week was created by--drum roll, please--ME! Here it is:
And since I created the sketch this week, I thought it only fair to actually stamp and create a REAL card--not an MDS card. I LOVE making cards in MDS, especially when my life is so rushed that I don't have time to stamp!! I also LOVE stamping!! And here is my creation/interpretation of my own sketch:
Here's what I used:
- So Saffron (#126957) and Very Vanilla (#101650) cardstocks
- Tea for Two Designer Series Paper (#129311 in the Spring catalog)
- Secret Garden stamp set (#129141-wood #129144-Clear) and matching framelits (#129372)--both in the Spring catalog
- Natural 7/16" Trim Ribbon (#129287 in the Spring catalog)
- Decorative label punch (#120907) and 3/4" circle punch (#119873)
- Bloomin' Marvelous stamp set (#129651-wood #129654-clear)--available FREE during Sale-a-Bration with a $50 purchase!
- Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246)
- Tangerine Tango (#126946) and Early Espresso (#126974) ink pads (did I ever tell you that Early Espresso has become my go-to color for stamping sentiments?)
- Stampin' Dimensionals to pop up the flower and the label with the greeting (#104430)
- Delicate Designs Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#127023)
Enjoy!!
