Sketch Frenzy Friday 04-19-13 Sent With Love

Hi Stampers!

Whew!!  It's Friday and time for another Sketch Frenzy Friday!  I don't know about you, but I am glad this week is over!!  Taxes done!  But always more and more stuff to do all the time!  However, I DID find some time to stamp!  Our sketch this week was created by Tammy Fite, and here it is:
I think this is one great sketch!!!  Here's what I did with it:
I used the Sent With Love Bundle (132851, $25.50).  This bundle includes a stamp set (Sent With Love, 131847, $17.95), a package of Sent With Love Designer Series Paper, 132185,$10.95) and a package of Calypso Coral Baker's Twine--which is not available outside of the bundle.  The stamp set and DSP can be ordered by themselves, but the best deal is the bundle--20% off plus the Baker's Twine!!!
In addition to the bundle, I also used:
  • Whisper White card stock, 100730, $8.50 (40 sheets)
  • Calypso Coral card stock, 122925, $6.95 (24 sheets)
  • Island Indigo card stock, 122923, $6.95 (24 sheets)
  • Tasteful Trim Bigz XL die, 120893, $42.95
  • Labels Collection Framelits, 125598, $26.95--I used the smallest die under the Sealed with a kiss stamp
  • 1-1/4" Scallop Circle Punch, 127811, $15.95
Two more pictures for you: side view
Yes, that is a roll of paper towels behind the card.  My kitchen has fluorescent lighting which is GREAT for picture taking.  And inside of the card:

Sketch Frenzy Friday 040513: A Little Wisteria Wonder

Hi Stampers:

Happy Friday to all of you!  It's Sketch Frenzy Friday time and we have a cute and quick sketch for you created by Robbie:

And, as you know, a sketch is a license to interpret in your own way!!  Here's my card:

This card started off as one idea and wound up as something totally different!!!  I had cut the Wisteria Wonder card stock and embossed the one piece with the Honeycomb TIEF about 2 weeks ago.  I knew I wanted to do something with the Oval Framelits, but couldn't decide what to do.  Then I re-discovered my much neglected Bordering on Romance stamp set.  You might notice that water coloring is NOT my strong suit!!!  I stamped the image with Stazon Jet Black ink, and water colored with Wisteria Wonder and Garden Green ink pads.  I was trying to get a look of pansies.  Perhaps I should have used Perfect Plum instead of Wisteria Wonder!  Then I had the brilliant (?) idea to add some touches of Daffodil Delight with the Stampin' Write marker.  After I did that, I decided that maybe I shouldn't have done that!  But I went with it anyway.  The small scalloped image is from the NEW sneak peek set, Round Array, which is available right now.  It is mounted on top of a strip of Wisteria Wonder ribbon, which is mounted on top of a strip of Very Vanilla card stock.  Oh, by the way, the flower image was cut out with an Oval framelit and sponged with Wisteria Wonder on the edges.  I also spritzed the card with Vanilla Smooch Spritz.  One thing I DO like about the card is the embossed layer that is the same color as the base card!

Well, that's it for this SFF!  Check out our SFF BLOG where you can see all the designers' cards.  And don't forget that you can join us!  Just use the Linky tool on the blog!!!
