SFF032015--It's a Spring Thing!

Welcome:

It's time again for Sketch Frenzy Friday!  What?!?!  It can't be!  Yes, it is!  My how time flies!  The days are getting warmer, and I'm loving it!  O sure, when summer's heat hits, I'll be complaining, but right now, the warmer sun feels really nice after the cold blasts and snow we've had this winter.  To celebrate this warmer weather, I have a nice spring look to my card today:
My card uses this sketch from Terri Tank, who is a part of our design team for Sketch Frenzy Friday:
My colors are:  Rose Red, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, and Early Espresso.  I used two stamp sets from the Occasions Catalog:  Your Perfect Day and For Peep's Sake.  The vine wreaths from Your Perfect Day, and the sentiment (which I LOVE!) is from For Peep's Sake.  I punched a bunch of flowers using the flower punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.  I put a small pearl in the center of each one--4 flowers for the corners and 5 flowers for the wreath.  There is a small sprig stamp with the wreath stamp in Your Perfect Day, and I used it to add more leaves to the wreath.

I would love to see how you would interpret this sketch,so hop on over to our Sketch Frenzy Friday blog, and add your creation to ours!

Enjoy!

SFF030615

Hi Stampers:

According to the weather people it is "meteorological spring," which begins on March 1. HaHa!  Mother Nature says otherwise!  We had more snow Wednesday night after a high in the upper forties during the day.  And the low today is supposed to be -3 or -4!  Well we can Think spring, can't we?

We have a great sketch this week for Sketch Frenzy Friday from Elizabeth Kratzer:
Here is my card using the sketch:
I chose to orient my design from lower left to upper right instead of lower right to upper left as the sketch shows.  Here's what I used on my card:
  • Coastal Cabana, Blushing Bride (flower) and Whisper White card stock
  • Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper (flower center)
  • Work of Art stamp set
  • Gorgeous Grunge stamp set
  • Flower Shop stamp set
  • Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana, Memento Jet Black ink pads
  • Fancy Fan TIEF
  • Pansy Punch
  • 2013-2015 In Color Sequins assortment
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Now jump on over to the Sketch Frenzy Friday blog to see what the other designers have created.  I just love all ways this sketch inspired us!

Enjoy!
