Sketch Frenzy Friday

Hi Stampers:

It's Friday and time for another fabulous sketch. The sketch this week is from Angela Walters. Unfortunately, I don't have a card for it, but I am including the sketch here, and linking you to MARIA'S BLOG and our main blog, SKETCH FRENZY FRIDAY. I hope to have something to post later!

Enjoy!

Sketch Frenzy Friday--It Should Have Been a Birthday Card!!

Hi Stampers:

Yes, I should have made a birthday card for myself because today is my birthday! My husband gave me a pink rose for my day--he is so sweet! Instead, I made an MDS thank you card. I am still on a kick with the Tea Shoppe stamp brush set. I also chose to use my favorite colors--Perfect Plum and Elegant Eggplant. I am a purple girl!!! Here's my card:

And here is the sketch from Tina Munzke:

MDS is very forgiving and flexible. I started out with a card base of Elegant Eggplant, but thought it was too dark, so I changed the opacity to 65% to make the color a bit less intense. The large circle is filled with Perfect Plum Blooms DSP. The stamps were colored full strength Elegant Eggplant and the Modern Label digital punch is white.

Enough from me! Let's click over to MARIA'S BLOG and see what she created. And don't forget; you can always start the tour and/or upload your own creation at our main blog, SKETCH FRENZY FRIDAY.

Sketch Frenzy Friday--MDS is My Friend!

Hi Stampers:

Just when I thought I was going to get some stamping done, life interfered again, and I had NO TIME TO STAMP!!! So my entry in our mini blog tour this week was created in MDS.

Here's our sketch from Tammy Fite:

And here's my project:

Everything on the card is from the Twitterpated Kit and the Tea Shoppe stamp brush set--except the ribbon--for that I used Baja Breeze seam binding ribbon. The Twitterpated Kit and Tea Shoppe downloads became available on Tuesday, Jan 10. You can order them from my 24/7 Stampin' Up! shop. You can also order the Twitterpated designer paper, the rubber Tea Shoppe stamp set, cardstock, buttons, and ribbon from my store. Just click on the Shop Now button on the right side of my blog.

Let's jump over and see what MARIA has done with the sketch. You can always go to our main SFF Blog and upload your own creation!

Sketch Frenzy Friday--My Cat Ate My Homework!!

Hi Stampers:

Well, Catie-Cat did not eat my card, but I couldn't think of a good excuse about why every effort to create a card for this week's sketch failed miserably--so much so that I won't even post any of them. But to keep you going on the mini tour, here is the sketch by Tammy B:
