Welcome to the SUDSOL Blog Tour!

SUDSOL Blog Tour - May 17th

Hi Stampers!

Welcome to the SUDSOL BLOG TOUR! I have been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for 12-1/2 years! And, for probably 10 years of that time, I have been a member of SUDSOL! This is a great group of Simply Unique Demonstrators Sharing Online. There are SO MANY advantages to being a member of SUDSOL--lots of sharing online thru e-mails, tips, techniques, patterns, templates, a workshop shell with ALL the items Stampin' Up! sells in an Excel spreadsheet--this item alone is worth the subscription price! Not to mention all the WONDERFUL people you meet on line and in person who are a part of this group.

Today, I am sharing 3 projects with you, and the first one is a modification of a pattern I found in the Patterns and Templates section of SUDSOL (try out SUDSOL for 2 weeks free - and check out this section!):

This is a pad of re-stickable notes covered with cardstock, DSP, and self-adhesive die cuts from the Playful Polka Dots Simply Scrappin' kit available in the Summer Mini catalog. I love the colors--Rose Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive. Such cute stuff! Here are a couple of other pictures showing how the holder opens and a side view closed:

My next project is one that I have been wanting to make for a LONG time, and I also used the Perfect Polka Dots Simply Scrappin' kit to make it. This is a note pad and pen holder made from one of the CD cases that Stampin' Up! sells. You probably know that our clear mount stamp sets come in these cases, but if you are not aware, you can also buy 4-packs of these cases. The three views below are the front of the case, the front and back of the case, and the inside of the case. I was lucky enough to find a matching pen at one of the office supply stores.

My last project is a card I made also using the Perfect Polka Dots Simply Scrappin' kit. In addition to supplies from the kit, I used Fire Circle brads to decorate the flower centers and a stamped sentiment from Happy Greetings, which is available in the Summer Mini catalog. I stamped the sentiment on a small piece of Whisper White, punched it out with the Decorative Label Extra-Large Punch.

Well, that's it for me. Please click on the link below to go to the next stop on the tour, and I hope you will consider joining our group.
