Sketch Frenzy Friday--A REAL Card!

Hi Stampers:
Well, it's Friday again and we have a great sketch for you from Sketch Frenzy Friday. The sketch this week was created by Tammy Baldwin, and here it is:

I love it!

And here is my card based on the sketch--a REAL card, stamped and assembled, not created in MDS:

I LOVE the vintage look and I LOVE MY CARD! Yes, I am blowing my own horn! I created the card for my husband's birthday, which is Feb. 24. Don't worry--he doesn't follow my blog or stamping, so he will never guess it is for him until I give it to him!
Here are the details: card base is Crumb Cake stamped with the bird cage and butterfly images from the Nature Walk set stamped with Crumb Cake ink--available in the Occasions Mini Catalog until April 30--edges of the card are sponged with Soft Suede. The layer at the bottom of the card is a strip of the green paper from Botanical Gazette DSP, edges sponged with Soft Suede--also available in the Occasions Mini. The vertical layer on the left is another strip of Botanical Gazette DSP mounted on a piece of Very Vanilla card stock also sponged with Soft Suede ink. I punched a large scallop circle shape from the brown--I think it's Soft Suede--paper from Botanical Gazette and mounted a Decorative Label punched shape sponged with Soft Suede ink on top. The Birthday Wishes sentiment is from the Bring on the Cake stamp set, also available in the Occasions Mini and it is stamped with Soft Suede ink. Instead of 4 brads, I decided to use 3 of the smallest Vanilla Rosettes and I also used a strip of the Chantilly crochet trim on the card.
